I love my life with Jiu-jitsu; the families created for me all around the world. I feel blessed. I can get on a plane in one country, walk into an academy in another country, to find an academy full of people who want to kill me – some don’t speak my language – then after two or three rolls we’re like jiu-jitu cousins. In those cases where we don’t speak the same language, jiu-jitsu becomes the language, which is the same language in all corners of the world. Thanks to the man upstairs for the good health and thank you to Brazil for evolving this sport to what it is today.
